What man is to believe concerning God

Question: Did God leave all mankind to perish in the estate of sin and misery?

Answer: God having, out of his mere good pleasure, from all eternity, elected some to everlasting life, (Eph. 1:4) did enter into a (covenant of grace), to deliver them out of the estate of sin and misery, and to bring them into an estate of salvation by a Redeemer. (Rom. 3:20–22Gal. 3:21–22)

The Righteousness of God Through Faith

Rom. 3:21 ¶ But now apart 1from the Law athe righteousness of God has been manifested, being bwitnessed by the Law and the Prophets,

Rom. 3:22 even the arighteousness of God through bfaith cin Jesus Christ for dall those 1who believe; for ethere is no distinction;

Gal. 3:21 Is the Law then contrary to the promises of God? aMay it never be! For bif a law had been given which was able to impart life, then righteousness would indeed be by law.

Gal. 3:22 But the Scripture has ashut up 1everyone under sin, so that the promise by faith in Jesus Christ might be given to those who believe.
