What man is to believe concerning God

Question: How did God create man?

Answer: God created man male and female, after his own image, in knowledge, righteousness, and holiness, with dominion over the creatures. (Gen. 1:26–28, Col. 3:10, Eph. 4:24)

Gen. 1:26 ¶ Then God said, “Let ^aUs make ^bman in Our image, according to Our likeness, so that they will have ^cdominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the ¹sky and over the cattle and over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.”

Gen. 1:27 And God created man ^ain His own image, in the image of God He created him; ^bmale and female He created them.

Gen. 1:28 God blessed them, and God said to them, “^aBe fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth, and subdue it; and have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the ¹sky and over every living thing that creeps on the earth.”

Col. 3:10 and have ^aput on the new man who is being ^1brenewed to a full knowledge ^caccording to the image of the One who ^dcreated him—

Eph. 4:24 and to ^aput on the ^bnew man, which ^1cin the likeness of God has been created in righteousness and holiness of the truth.
