Journey thru the Bible: Matthew Chapters 22-24

Welcome aboard the “Bible Bus”—what Dr. J. Vernon McGee affectionately called our five-year journey through the whole Word of God. What makes the Bible Bus unique is the systematic way we study the whole Bible over five years. You can hop on the Bus at any stop and ride for as long as you like. We begin in Genesis (Old Testament), then jump to the book of Matthew (New Testament), and then back to the Old Testament. Systematically and in order, we travel through all 66 books in five years.

This multi-part video series will cover the Gospel of Matthew.

    When I was a teenager and new Christian, I listened to JVM’s broadcast on the local Christian radio station. He had some unusual ideas to be sure, but I was just soaking up everything about God in that time. I’ve been reminded of him again lately. One of the men in our Men’s group brings his volume of “Thru the Bible” for our study through the Gospels and often reads at least one paragraph from it for our study. The anthology is just the transcript of his radio shows, so it’s memorable, but also a little funny, to hear his vocative calls to his listeners (“Dear Friends,…”) being read.
