Question: What is the chief end of man?
Answer: Man’ s chief end is to glorify God, (1 Cor. 10:31, Rom. 11:36) and to enjoy him for ever. (Ps. 73:25–28)
1Cor. 10:31 ¶ Whether, then, you eat or drink or awhatever you do, do all to the glory of God.
Rom. 11:36 For afrom Him and through Him and to Him are all things. bTo Him be the glory 1forever. Amen.
Psa. 73:25 ¶ aWhom have I in heaven but You? And 1besides You, I desire nothing on earth.
Psa. 73:26 My aflesh and my heart fail, But God is the rock of my heart and my bportion forever.
Psa. 73:27 For, behold, athose who are far from You will bperish; You have 1destroyed everyone who 2cis unfaithful to You.
Psa. 73:28 But as for me, athe nearness of God is my good; I have set Lord Yahweh as my brefuge, That I may crecount all Your works.
